Gobi's Goods
In 2025, I wanted to work on a passion project. More importantly, I wanted to work with a brand that I aligned with. So, I took it upon myself to reach out to some Filipino small-businesses that needed some love. I was fortunate enough to design for Gobind M. Lutero, a NY-based baker also known as Gobi's Goods. I am still currently in the design process. However, I thought I would share my process and what I have designed so far!
Through this project, I was (and still am!) able to explore the many different aspects of branding and graphic design such as mascot design, brand guides, logo design, etc.
Current Working Logo & Mascot
The current working logo is playful and bubbly. While staying true to Gobi's Goods' original palette and brand goal, I was inspired to really bring forward that Filipino inspiration.
Growing up, mascots like Jollibee, Garlic Boy, and Milky Chocolate girl were characters that I loved. It was through this love and inspiration that I was able to bring Gobi's Goods' iconic and best-selling pastry to life: the CEO of Ube!

The Logo Process
With over 80+ versions designed, I was able to land on the current working logo. Below are some of the many different iterations and ideas that I explored while designing.
What's next for Gobi's Goods?
As of right now I am finishing up my second-to-last semester at Towson University. However, I have many things planned! Currently, I'm working on environmental (interior) design, prints, and merchandise! I'm excited to share the end products coupled with the final brand guide! In the meantime, feel free to check out my other work! Cheers!
