2024 SUPERSTITION SCREEN PRINT SERIES
In 2024, I was fortunate to try out screen printing! As someone who grew up fairly superstitious, I used that to as my subject matter as I learned the medium.
After getting accustomed with the process, I honed in on the concept of layering. Each print was a little more detailed than the last.
Trying to translate my digital understanding of layering to a physical medium was tricky given the permanent process of ink on paper. Despite the many, many rounds of each print, I had such a wonderful time getting the hands-on experience and creating something physical.
